7:19 minutes (2.52 MB)

A somber oooozzz and the show begun.

White Rock City Mayor and Council met yesterday 25 January 2010 in Council City hall Chambers in White Rock to start the agenda by listening two minutes to Mr. Martin Jevans of White Rock, 'complaints of delay'. 'An issue nearing a two years of delay of a 'safety infrastructure matter. to which presence Mr. Jevans had pointed to a long time ago and now again  asked the City to  resolve and act upon for 'safety reasons' and so far 'no action taken' and progress of intention had taken place.

White Rock-South Surrey Titans Football Team Training for a Successful Football Season; Players & Cheerleaders Wanted! 2009.

7:02 minutes (2.42 MB)

The White Rock Reporter spoke to the President of the Titans football club. The Titans have their home in White Rock and South Surrey and its President Lisa Lemoignan [ lisa.lemoignan@telus.net ] was kind and took some precious time off the board meeeting she held in the field in this warm and pleasant evening. I counted to over hundred players and support staff 'working-out' in the green grass; a privilege to speak to Lisa and listen to her description of 'what's up' with the Titans and its many young players.

It is envisaged as a worthwhile initiative and timely in a location [the beach] .

Distraught business woman and retailer sold 'her space to her next door neighbour, on Marine Drive East.'.

Office space is in demand in White Rock and on the Marine Drive, East beach, BC. I was told after the interview.

Merchant is sounding the alarm...'time to rethink the White Rock Parking Concept; a business run by our city on land mostly owned by a 'foreign corporation'. BNSFR need to go!?

Mayor: "We shall be the healthiest city in all of Canada"

The Council body - 6 councillors and the Mayor were all 'grooming and flattering' each other with the utmost of politeness and courtesy. It's Christmas in a few days. The kindness of the Season is shining through.

Having attended many a meeting with less 'courtesy and concern of etiquette' shown, tonight was a pleasant exception.

How nice when all are nice to each other and all agree to cooperate. It was a 'council in harmony' you may say.
